When the ruler X of a house A goes into another house B, X will take the "agenda" of the house A to house B.

Take analogy from the real life situation.

If you come to my house, will you forget your house? No! , You can't.

Thus X, who rules house A and goes to house B....,  means the affiars of the House B will be affected, utilized and modified by X to fullfill its role as the owner of the house A. In this X may help or obstruct the normal affairs going on in B. The environment (zodiac sign) in B may be conducive or non-conducive to the functioning of X.

When you go to a client's office (B), even if you (X) are working constructiveley at B and giving benifits to B, at the end of the day you are fulfilling the aspiration of your own business (A). Your working will depend upon many factors

Importance of Ascendant

Asc or Lagna = beginning of the journey of life at the time of birth...

Ascendant is the point in the ZODIAC rising in the eastern horizon when a person is born...

Sun rising in the eastern horizon => Day begins

Asc rising on the eastern horizon => life begins ( the soul gets the body)

Sun, Moon and Asc

Sun = Soul
Asc = body
Moon = mind

Once the birth happens...the soul is bound to the body. The body continues its journey of life as directed by the MIND (Moon)... thus we see Moon is the real driver in the journey of life in any birth. What does our mind needs to drive the body (and the soul that is bound to the body) towards the correct destination ? - ofcouse it needs knowledge.
